2018 Training Conference
Leading the Way
2018 CSUSA Training Conference September 9-12, 2018 Bienvenue à la Nouvelle-Orléans. Welcome to New Orleans.
The Big Easy is ready to welcome the 2018 Crime Stoppers USA Training Conference, September 9-12, 2018. “Leading the Way” is the theme for this year’s Conference. Crime Stoppers all across the country and the world are making a difference every day by creating a safer place to live, work and play.
Crime Stoppers USA is committed to providing its members with best practices and training to help them carry out their important mission. The 2018 CSUSA training Conference will provide you with tools to continue “Leading the Way” in your community.
Once again this year we are offering a class on Sunday from Noon to 4:00 PM called the ABC’s of Crime Stoppers. New Board Members, Coordinators and Executive Directors will find this a great overview of how Crime Stoppers programs can be more successful. The Sunday evening Meet and Greet, hosted by Anderson Software, will capture the New Orleans vibe.
We’ll cover the basics of course, but you will have the opportunity to see what “Leading the Way” means as you hear how fellow Crime Stoppers programs share their successes. New topics such as; How to attract Corporate Board Members; Internships & Crime Stoppers; Crime Stoppers Faith Based Partnerships and Crime Stoppers and podcasts are just a few of the classes we have planned. We’ve expanded our Financial and Corporate Compliance and Legal update sessions and will have more sessions on fund raising for your program.
Networking is an important part of the Conference and in addition to the daily opportunities; we will be visiting the World War II Museum where you will have dinner and a private viewing of the Museums Campaign of Pavilion Courage and US Freedom Pavilions.
Our Conference host, Crime Stoppers of Greater New Orleans, is planning some special events during the Conference and you won’t want to miss out.
